November Favorites!

November has been a swell month! Full of makeup discoveries that are becoming holy grail level! I love sharing my monthly favorites because I hope you’re able to get a solid, trustworthy review and decide whether to buy or keep in your cart for later! 🙂 I included makeup, hair and a nail polish fav, so I hope you enjoy the variety this month!

dpHUE Cool Blonde Shampoo, $24.

Ever since I began balayage-ing my hair, I’ve noticed the lighter I go, the brassier my hair looks. Unfortunately, I’m not a fan so the best way to combat the unwanted orange tones is a violet, toning shampoo to cool it down! The main problem with a lot of these products are that they can overly dry out your ends, making it super brittle! I read a lot of great reviews about this particular shampoo being super effective at toning down brassy tones for brunettes and blondes; and I must say, it really works! I wash my hair with this once a week to keep my lightened hair a neutral blonde color. Once I’ve evenly distributed it throughout, I make sure to leave it in for about 5 minutes to make sure it really does its job! I do find that when I rinse it all out, it’s pretty drying and my hair feels slightly stripped, so afterwards I’m always sure to follow up with a hair mask and I typically keep that on for about 5 minutes too!

Wet Brush, $12.

To continue with the hair favorites category, I’ve been obsessed with the Wet Brush! I picked up the “Original” one because I have long hair, but it’s fine in texture. The main problem I face is that when I get out of the shower, my hair is super tangled and knotted regardless of the amount of conditioner I use. Before this brush, I would wince each time I had to comb out my wet hair, but now all the tangles disappear with zero pain! This thing has changed my hair’s life and I attribute my decrease in hair loss to this product as well! I always had an obscene amount of hair in my brushes (disgusting, I know) and now there’s hardly any in this brush! It works, it really works! Definitely try this out if you have been on the hunt for a new hairbrush!

Laura Geller, Spackle Treatment Even-Tone Makeup Primer, $32.

I tried out a bunch of Laura Geller products this month and I’ve been loving all of them so much! Especially this makeup primer! I’ve always heard that her signature “Spackle” is loved by many! I wanted to try it because typically, I just wear a primer and powder foundation on a daily basis instead of a liquid foundation! This product is slightly tinted, but has the most beautiful luminescent glow. I’m so surprised that beauty bloggers and YouTuber’s don’t talk about this product more often! It looks gorgeous underneath any makeup and provides such a beautiful lit-from-within look to your skin, even if you don’t have time to put on makeup, you can slap some of this stuff on and look refreshed and glowy! Laura Geller has multiple types of “Spackle” so you are bound to find one that will address your personal skin needs! I love this Even-Tone one because it instantly neutralizes redness and fills in unsightly pores!

Too Faced, Primed & Poreless Pressed Powder, $30.

For the days when I do wear foundation, I’ve been using the Too Faced Primed and Poreless powder to set my entire face. I love that this product gives a fresh, airbrushed appearance to my skin and never looks cakey! I’ve also realized that it does not cause flashback in photography, which tends to always happen with other translucent powders! It’s also a very silky formula, making it perfect for my dry winter skin! Plus, I mean how cute is this packaging?! I love having a little pink compact on my makeup vanity!

Urban Decay Eyeshadow, “Lounge”, $19.

I’m a huge fan of duo chrome eyeshadows because they can look like two different colors based on the light shifting. Whenever I need an all-over eyeshadow color for a quick, night-out I look, this one is my go-to! Urban Decay eyeshadows are some of my favorite because they last for a long time and they’re so evenly pigmented, making their application error-proof! I love using this shade with a light, warm brown in the crease and a deep burgundy shade on the outer corner.

Benefit Cosmetics, Roller Lash Super Curling and Lifting Mascara, $24.

I have talked about the Benefit Roller Lash mascara before because it’s just that amazing! I’ve rediscovered my love for it recently and I must say, if your eyelashes have trouble curling and staying curled, then you’ve gotta try this stuff! The formula is so good and it really works! I’ve been applying my Lancome eye primer underneath and I’m always getting asked if I have eyelash extensions so that combo seems to work great! Also I’m loving that it never flakes or transfers onto my eyelids or lower lash line like other mascaras do!

Deborah Lippmann, Glitter Nail Color, “Happy Birthday”, $20.

I’ve been doing my own manicures recently and with the holidays approaching, it’s impossible to resist glitter. The “Happy Birthday” glitter polish by Deborah Lippmann is something special! I love that each shape of glitter is different and there’s lots of different colored sparkles, making it look like actual confetti on your nails! This polish is so fun and different than anything else I’ve ever seen, so I would highly recommend!

Yves Saint Laurent, “Black Opium”, $90.

I wanted to mention the YSL “Black Opium” perfume because it’s seriously one of my favorites and something I always get compliments on when wearing! I would describe it as creamy vanilla, sweet scent that is perfect for day or night! It’s also very long lasting and doesn’t fade for at least 8 hours, which is pretty impressive! Plus the bottle is super luxurious and beautiful, so I give the packaging an A+!

Thank you for taking the time to read about all the products I’ve been loving during the month of November! Like always, please leave me a comment letting me know the products you’ve had on repeat all month long! I would love to know and try them out!

I’ve always wanted to try that too faced powder, but I always thought since it was meant for pores specifically that it would dry out my dry skin! Thanks for the input, now I have a different look on that product, I’ll have to give it a try! Lovely post! ❤️☺️
